Murky Crossroads
I have reached a muddy junction.
This is the last two days of work with my present employer, as I leave the relatively comfortable cocoon of familiarity, within the piano nobile of the world's loftiest twin constructs of vocation, to swap for a less familiar surrounding within "Hill of Stars" (Bukit Bintang to most MUDs). A scant consolation is that the infamous melting pot of all things IT (Low Yat Plaza and Imbi Plaza) is now a stone's throw away, with a possibility of a quick visit every lunchtime.
I have reached a muddy junction.
A decision to further the cause of Islam (via the spread of Islamic knowledge) by means within one's expertise, sits on the precipice; time has come for money to be invested, which inadvertently makes one pause. Especially when the livelyhood of not only oneself, but also others, is involved.
I have reached a muddy junction.
Ah, the advent of life! As the Love of My Life nears birthing, and yet is often adversely affected from the health perspective by the process, one can only provide love, comfort and support, as the alternative is enraging helplessness.
But then, such is life, and I embrace it as such. Did Confucious not once wish, "May you live in interesting times?" Did Thoreau not want "to live deliberately"? The junction may be muddy, even murky, but hey, what else could a MUD expect?
This MUD would have it no other way. As Groo, Sergio Aragones' bumbling comic warrior, would have yelled: "Into the fray!"
And into the fray I go....!
